We schedule the drive so your unit is set up, inspected and ready before guests arrive. Since we are coming from the city, give us accurate details at booking: the setup spot, gate width, surface and power. That way nothing holds up the setup.

Before we arrive: site checklist

Flat and level. Choose the flattest open area. Our crew confirms the required clearance around the unit on site.
Look up. No tree limbs or power lines over the setup spot.
Outlet within 50 ft included; 51-100 ft run has an added site charge (listed under Site Conditions on our FAQs page). Each blower runs on its own GFCI-protected circuit, never shared with an air conditioner or dryer.
Access. At least 3 feet of gate or path width from where we park to where we set up.
Surface. We stake on grass. On concrete or pavement, we use sandbags.

Hosting at a park or church hall? Public spaces like Castroville Regional Park on Alsace Avenue have their own rules. Check that inflatables, generators or power hookups, and your time slot are allowed before you book. Churches and schools, including Medina Valley ISD campuses, can ask us for a certificate of insurance.

Safety you can verify

Owner-operator Miguel Rodriguez Santiago holds the Advanced Inflatable Safety Operations Certification from SIOTO, the Safe Inflatable Operators Training Organization. On every delivery, we inspect the site for underground, overhead and surrounding hazards, drive and cap every stake, fully inflate and walk the unit, then brief the responsible adult in person before we leave.

River City Event Rentals carries commercial liability insurance. Venues, parishes, schools and HOAs that need a certificate of insurance naming them as additional insured can request one when they book.


Deposit and weather policy


A 10% reservation deposit books your date. It is applied to your order total and is non-refundable if you cancel (weather rules below). Balance is due 48 hours before delivery. Bookings inside 48 hours are paid in full at checkout.


We watch Doppler radar, NOAA and Weather.com, and we pay closest attention to wind gusts. Lightning, heavy rain or approaching storms mean the unit comes out of service. We would rather have an uncomfortable conversation three days out than an emergency on the day. If we cannot safely deliver or operate because of severe weather (high winds, lightning, heavy rain), your 10% reservation deposit can move to a new date within 12 months or become store credit. If you cancel for personal weather concerns while we can still safely deliver, normal cancellation rules apply.
